YAISHWARYAJ: Training Officers

Focus Humanitarian Assistance (FOCUS) is an international group of agencies established in Europe, North America and South Asia to complement the provision of emergency relief, principally in the developing world. It helps people in need to reduce their dependence on humanitarian aid and facilitates their transition to sustainable self-reliant, long-term development. FOCUS is affiliated with the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN).

Training Officers - Sindh and Punjab
(Karachi Based; 2 Positions Male)
The incumbent will be responsible to:

Conduct baseline surveys and Training Need Analysis (TNA);
Design training contents, update curriculum, prepare lesson plan and teaching aids for trainings and conduct sessions in communities;
Mobilize and motivate the community according to the institutional objectives and aim through proper communication and coordination;
Conduct trainings and Develop training follow up reports;
Assist Project Manager in arranging meetings with community and other project related activities at regional level;
Write periodical reports and disseminate to line supervisors;
Assist Project Manager in budgeting, planning and documentation;
Ensure that the trainees are well managed and kept motivated.

Person Specifications:
The incumbent should:

Hold Masters degree in any Social Sciences subjects,
Have minimum 3 years of training experience especially with communities of remote/vulnerable areas,
Effectively manage verbal and written communication with hands-on experience in curriculum design,
Able to travel in Punjab and Sindh.
