KFC – trashing rainforests

Hi Urvashi,

Join the revolt. Ask KFC to stop using packaging and palm oil that destroys rainforests.

KFC fast food packaging is made from pulped rainforest. Please help us change this before time runs out for Sumatran tigers – there are only 400 left in the wild.

KFC’s bosses continue to deny links to rainforest destruction, even though we have proven they are using packaging made by Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), one of the world’s most notorious forest destroyers. Over 50,000 people all over the world have been asking KFC to stop buying from APP, and introduce new policies to rule out deforestation from their supply chain for good.

You should join this revolt by asking KFC to stop trashing rainforests because rainforests support precious bio-diversity.

Video: Academic Debate at Univ. of Toronto on BEING DIFFERENT

UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO   Academic Scholars Debate the book BEING DIFFERENT March 17, 2012   I was invited by Prof. Donald Wiebe of University of Toronto to a special event organized by him to discuss my latest book. Wiebe is prominent internationally among scholars who adopt an agnostic-scientific approach to study religions.   The event was chaired by Prof. Marsha Hewitt, whose specialty is in Psychology and Religion.   One of the discussants was David Miller, now retired, whose career in religious studies centered on Indian religions.   The second discussant was Kurt Richardson, who adopts a Christian centric view of religions.   There was a lively Q&A at the end of the opening remarks.   Frankly, I found all the opening remarks to be predictable, including my own.
