Suggestions to Political Leadership

 

7^th Day of Anna Fast. Sunday (21/08/2011) converted as Annaday. He lost 5 Kg. Weight. Inspite of some alarming development, Overall Health Condition otherwise is OK.

 

Civil Society never undermined the Parliament and the Constitution. Rather Politicians undermined the Civil Society and made more than 100 Amendments in the Constitution to suit them and their whimsical governance.

 

However, Union Government has lost its moral authority to continue on its stand on Lokpal Bill which is pending before the Parliamentary Standing Committee. Therefore, it is wise for the Government to place and adopt a Resolution in both the house of Parliament on 23^rd August, 2011 to withdraw the present Lokpal Bill, and simultaneously present the 'Jan Lokpal Bill', and without forwarding it to Standing Committee, also start clause by clause discussions after suspending all other business, because Government cannot claim that in recent past it did not pass any Bill, without sending to the respeective Standing Committee. And also made a statement that Government will also present Judicial Accountability Bill in this Session itself, after discussion with the Civil Society and others, and same will be passed without forwarding to respective Standing Committee.  

 

Otherwise Government will bound to lose its moral authority to govern the nation.

 

If aforesaid Suggestion materialise, this is my personal views that in such circumstances, Anna can broke his Fast.
