[list-milapchoraria-03] Appeal to Anna Team to go through following facts, before taking any action against Shri Prashant Bhusanji
After my message some freinds raised question on my condemning message against hooligan action committed against Shri Prashant Bhusan. In this context, I am totally against the suggestion made by Shri Prashant Bhusan to use plebiscite to setlle the Kashmir Issue. In my view now-a-days Shri Prashant Bhusan just not an individual rather he is an Important ICON for Jan Lokpal Issue. Threfore, in my view, till Jan Lokpal Issue is not settled, he should have not invoked his fundamental Right to Express to say some thing on issue like Kashmir Issue.
But, just for this reason, in a democratic countery like India we cannot accept that instead of opposing his views through discussion or debate, one can use muscle powers. This is against the basic principle of the democracy. Because, his such suggestion might be a mistake but not a crime.
However, before opposing his suggestion, we should also know from the history that initially Indian Government under Prime Ministership of Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru, was also accepted UNSC Resolution passed to settle the Kashmir Issue through 'Plescite'. However, such resolution was collepsed.
One of the earliest applications of Chapter VI of the United Nations Charter was on the Kashmir dispute. Following negotiations and agreements among the parties, the Security Council adopted resolution 47 (1948) of 21 April 1948 which promised a free and fair plebiscite under UN auspices to enable the people of Jammu and Kashmir to determine whether they wish to join Pakistan or India:-

"Noting with satisfaction that both India and Pakistan desire that the question of the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to India or Pakistan should be decided through the democratic method of a free and impartial plebiscite, considering that the continuation of the dispute is likely to endenger international peace and security."
Therefore, suggestion to conduct plebiscite was once approval of India Government headed by Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru, therefore such suggestion made by Shri Prashant Bhusan ji should not and cannot be treated as a crime. With this background my humble Appeal to Anna Team, not take or even consider to oust Shri Prashant Bhusan from his important Role, which he performed in drafting of Jan Lokpal Bill. Otherwise those will be happy, who want to maintain divide and Rule policy.
