Training opportunities in Software Development & System Administration at Hidaya Institute of Science & Technology .

Hidaya Institute of Science & Technology(www.histpk.org), a division of Hidaya Trust ( www.hidayatrust.org) is pleased to announce the opportunities for the following Training programs :

• Software Development Training
• System Administration Training

Objective :  To bridge the digital gap by providing quality Information Technology education to under privileged youth and prepare them for competitive world-wide job market while strengthening their technical skills. 

Eligibility : Information and Communication Technology graduates including Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, and other IT related disciplines are encouraged to apply. Only Graduates having 16 years degree in IT discipline are eligible to apply.

Summary :-  

Software Development Training : Under Software Development Training, Fresh graduates and unemployed Software Engineers are provided training opportunities where interns learn Basic & Advance concepts of Open Source & Microsoft Technologies. 

In Open Source technology, interns learn PHP, MySQL, CMS (Joomla), CSS, Java Script, HTML and AJAX etc.  

In Microsoft, Interns learn Dot.Net module including core C#.Net, ASP.Net 3.5/4.0, Basic & Advanced ASP.Net, and ASP. Net Security, IIS Configuration & Hosting, Web Services, MySQL Server 2005, and Rich Internet Applications Development including AJAX, LINQ, Silver Light, and XML.

System Administration Training:

Under System Administration Training, interns will learn in-depth introduction to the open source Linux operating system(Redhat , Fedora , CentOS), Server component of Linux networks, accompanied by topics such as installation, client/server management,Basic & Advance commands , BIND , Squid Server , Samba , NFS , NIS,LAMP,Virtual Hosting , SSH,SCP,Scripting (Bash/Shell) etc.In addition applicants will be taught all Microsoft Windows Platforms including windows Server 2003 & 2008 , Windows XP,Windows 7 etc with the implementation of Active Directory,DNS,DHCP,WINS,IIS,HTTP,FTP,Email Server,VPN Server , Network Policy server Routing , Radius Server and  ISA Server. 

Selected under privileged interns will not be paying tuition fees and may receive stipend for their day to day survival on providing proof of their financial status. Interested applicants should apply online latest by January ,05,2012.
