Esperanza voyage

Dear urvashi,

Ask minister Sharad Pawar to regulate industrial fishing in our seas

This is your last chance get on-board the Esperanza. Over 13,000 people have already signed the petition to protect our seas, and have been getting lots of friends to visit the page as well. The winner will be revealed on Monday, February 6, 2012.

The Greenpeace ship will be in India to witness and record the illegal and destructive fishing practices that are hurting the country’s fish stock and the livelihood of millions who depend on fishing.

You should ask Minister Sharad Pawar to protect our seas and its fish stock because the livelihood of millions depends on them.

Rarely does one get to go on a Greenpeace ship which has sailed around the world, stopping environmental crimes at sea. The ship will arrive in India next week, and you could be on it.

So, sign the petition and spread the word. See you on the Esperanza.
