Baqai Medical university based Diploma in Diabetes Education (onsite /online)

   Baqai Institute of Diabetology and Endocrinology(BIDE) - IDF Centre of Education 

is inviting applications for admission in one year university based Diploma in Diabetes Education (onsite /online).

                       The diploma is awarded by Baqai Medical University.

 

The curriculum of the course is based on "International Curriculum for Diabetes Health Professional Education" designed by

International Diabetes Federation (IDF).

 

The course is divided into two parts;

·        During the first three months of the course, there will be intensive teaching and practical training at Institute/online.

• The second part consists of an Internship of nine months, during which the trainee educator will be posted at the Clinical Setup/clinic of referring Physician.

 Target participants and course requirements:     

·         Candidate should have a Bachelors degree (B. Sc/BA. B Com or equivalent)

·         Students with the subjects of food and nutrition, Pharmacy, Physiology and those having a Diploma in Nursing will be preferred.

·        The selection of candidates would be based on communication skills, personal qualities, insight, interest and commitment to work.

·        The Final selection is based on ;

1-   Entry test 

2-   Interview

3- Referral letter from a practicing Physician

 

Last date of  submission of application is May 05,2012.

 

Entry test will be conducted on may 10, 2012.

The Course (onsite / online) will start on may 15,2012
