"I Paid a Bribe of Rs. 50 lakhs and a Car for a Canteen Contract"

Read this interesting incident posted by a New Delhi-based resident who had to pay an eye-popping amount of Rs 50 lakhs and an imported car to procure a canteen contract at an airport for a franchise of an international restaurant chain. The concerned officer in fact had demanded Rs1 crore as a bribe. “But now I regret all this,” rues the respondent.

I Did Not Pay a Bribe | Taking a Stand Makes a Difference!


Here is an inspiring story of a bribe-fighter who despite much pressure from railway police officer to pay a bribe chose not to give in and fought back. The officer asked a bribe of Rs.500 but as the respondent has written, “I refused to pay him and insisted that I pay to the government. Finally he left me giving just simple warnings without any fine.”
