Right to Information Act 2005 has been brought by Government of India to enhance transparency and accountability in the working of public authority with the intention to curb growing corruption in government machinery . It is most unfortunate that Lokayukta appointed to control the growing corruption in the state itself running away from transparency in its function as well as staff. O God save our state.
