Urvashi, Make a choice. Become a hero.

Hi Urvashi,

Welcome to 2013, you have a lot to do.

India's forests need heroes like you to save them from coal mining. Try out our new Forest Hero application, and see if you have what it takes.

Clicking a link won't make you into a hero or save the forests just like that, but it's the first step, and this application is a fun way to tell your friends about the bleak future facing forests in Central India because of coal mining.

This application makes you a hero. It integrates with your Facebook account and then you become the star of the film that follows!

Once your film is ready you can share it with your friends and show them what it’s like to be a hero. You’ll inspire them to become heroes and at the same time help gather more support for the forests.

Over 9,00,000 people have signed the petition asking the Prime Minister to save the forests in Central India from coal mining. If coal mining is not checked in time, tigers, our biodiversity, and the livelihood of those who depend on the forests will be in grave danger.

You can become the hero our forests need and you don’t even need super powers for that. Just click on the link below and start your journey as a Forest Hero. Then share your experience with your friends as well.

Thanks and happy new year!
