MetuPak^® (an Islamabad based NGO) in collaboration with COMSATS, Islamabad Campus offers "Principles and Practice of Clinical Research" a course offered by the Department of Continuing Education, Harvard Medical School and taught by professors from Harvard University. This is an online course with both synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Live interactive group sessions will be conducted through video-conferencing facility at COMSATS on Friday evenings at 5pm (7am Eastern USA time). The course has the potential for 2 years Master degree in clinical research from COMSATS.

The course is targeted towards health care professionals (Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, researchers). The course begins from mid of February, 2013 for about 30 weeks. Minimum requirement for registration is Bachelors degree in health related disciplines. However undergraduate medical, nursing, and health related disciplines are encouraged to take the course but they will not qualify for Master's degree subsequently.

The last date for registration including receipt of fee is January 28^th, 2013. The first 15 candidates will qualify for special subsidized fee of 2000 US dollars (inclusive of local overheads charges). Additional candidates can be accommodated at regular course fee as mentioned at www.ppcr.hms.harvard.edu

There will be an introductory open session on the course at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad Campus, Park Road on Monday, January 7, 2013 between 12pm and 2pm.
