Hi urvashi,

BREAKING: 8 Junglistan activists just stunned attendees at the national convention of Global Compact Network India (GCNI). Stripping out of their formal suits to reveal tiger costumes, they flashed a banner revealing 'Essar Loves Moily, Axes Forests'. Well, it is Valentine's Day after all! And a clueless Moily even posed with the balloon with the same message! Looks like he does love Essar. And we cannot think of two groups that have a cosier relationship. Moily has a record of favouring Essar [1]. What's messed up is this is at the cost of our forests. Just two days ago, environment minister Veerappa Moily gave Essar final clearance for their mining project to axe the beautiful Mahan forest [2]. This is despite reports of irregularities in the clearance process. And now he is the chief guest at this love convention co-sponsored by Essar.
Join Junglistan. The forests need your love.
Disgraceful methods such as forging signatures [3], intimidation tactics, and suing protestors and villagers for 500cr [4] - Essar has done it all. And now, their old friend Moily is helping them with their damaging plans. But this will not stop us. Join Junglistan to make sure that Mahan does not get the axe.
Join Junglistan. The forests need your love.
Thank you,

Brikesh Singh
