WHY ARE WE AFRAID OF NATHU RAM GODSE?

WHY ARE WE AFRAID OF NATHU RAM GODSE?

Why Godse killed Gandhi

Sixty seven years after the assassination of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, a 'mahatma' to many but really a cunning politician who had mastered the art of manipulating the Indian National Congress and offering simplistic solutions to the most complex problems, apart from coercing others to toe his line by abandoning food, the story of his murder continues to elicit both curiosity and passion. He was not the first leader to be felled by an assassin's bullet, nor is he the only eminent Indian, or South Asian for that matter, to fall victim to an elaborate murder conspiracy.

Thirty-six years after Gandhi was shot dead, Mrs Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her security guards. In between, officers of the Bangladeshi Army killed Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the man whom Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had made Pakistan's Army chief sent him to the gallows after a bogus trial. At a lesser level, Pratap Singh Kairon, described as the "architect of post-independence Punjab", was murdered in 1965; three decades later, another Chief Minister of Punjab, Beant Singh, died when his car was blown up by Khalistani separatists. Rajiv Gandhi died a brutal death when an LTTE suicide bomber pulled the trigger of her explosives-packed belt. Last year Benazir Bhutto was shot dead on the same spot where Liaquat Ali Khan was assassinated on October 16, 1951. Politics is a violent affair in this part of the world.

But Gandhi's assassination was different. Not only were his killers Hindu, they killed a man who had by then come to be regarded at home and abroad as an "apostle of peace" and symbolised the unique doctrine of 'non-violence'. In those early days of freedom, it was unthinkable that anybody would dare raise a finger, leave alone a gun, at Gandhi. Yet Nathuram Vinayak Godse did the unthinkable, with more than a little help from Narayan Apte, Vishnu Karkare, Gopal Godse, Madanlal Pahwa and Digambar Badge. The historic trial that followed - it was held in Delhi's Red Fort -- captured the imagination of the nation, unleashing sympathy and hate for the conspirators in equal measure. Barring Badge, who was either openly spat upon or secretly reviled for turning approver -- turncoats may win reprieve from the state, but they are looked down upon by all.

The first book of any substance on Gandhi's assassination was Stanley Wolpert's Nine Hours to Rama, published in 1962 and promptly banned by the Government of India; the ban still remains in place, although you can order a copy from amazon.com. It's largely an anodyne version of the killing that shocked the entire world, but Wolpert's suggestion that perhaps those responsible for Gandhi's protection failed in their task riled -- and continues to rile -- Government. Nine Hours to Rama was made into an eponymous film by Mark Robson in 1963; DVD versions of the film are also available at amazon.com.

Manohar Malgonkar's book, The Men Who Killed Gandhi, a gripping recreation of India's partition, independence and Gandhi's assassination on January 31, 1948, was first published during Mrs Gandhi's Emergency when manuscripts were cleared by censors who merrily ran their blue pencil through text which probably they could not even comprehend. "This made it incumbent upon me to omit certain vital facts," Malgonkar writes in the introduction to a new and lavishly illustrated edition of the book published by Roli, "such as, for instance, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar's secret assurance to Mr LB Bhopatkar, that his client, Mr VD Savarkar, had been implicated as a murder suspect on the flimsiest ground." The excised portions find their rightful place in the new edition, as do rare photographs and documents from the National Archives. Nathuram Godse, Apte and their accomplices look remarkably relaxed during the trial, unconcerned about the possibility of being sentenced to death - eventually Godse and Apte were hanged; Karkare, Gopal Godse, Pahwa were sentenced to life imprisonment. They never regretted their deed.

Those were terrible days. Hindu and Sikh refugees from Pakistan were struggling to keep body and soul together. Many of them had lost their loved ones in the partition riots -- women were raped in front of their husbands and children; young girls were abducted; men were disembowelled; trains arrived laden with dead bodies; people fleeing marauders were set upon with ferocious brutality. Madanlal Pahwa, a young refugee, Malgonkar writes, "reached a place called Fazilka, in Indian territory, and discovered that another refugee column in which his father and other relatives had set out, had fared much worse. They had been attacked by Muslim mobs: 'Only 40 or 50 had survived out of 400 or 500...'." Delhi was flooded by nearly one million refugees, all of them desperately looking for food and shelter. They were distraught and traumatised, unable to figure out why their lives had been turned upside down in so gruesome a manner. Nor could they understand the rationale behind protecting Delhi's Muslims. What left them aghast was Gandhi's insistence that Hindu and Sikh refugees should be sent back to Pakistan and Muslims who had left India be brought back. It didn't make sense. Nor did the vicious blood-letting that followed. Meanwhile, Pakistan had launched its mission to smash and grab Jammu & Kashmir and was demanding that India hand over Rs 55 crore, its share of the cash reserve inherited from the departing British colonial Government.

The proverbial last straw was Gandhi's threat to go on a fast to force the Government of India to accept Pakistan's demand. In all fairness, it needs to be recalled that Jawaharlal Nehru was opposed to the idea: He famously declared that giving the money to Pakistan would mean providing it with "sinews of war". The old man was not listening: In the end, Gandhi had his way although people were aghast. But did this gross act of injustice to the people of India and the callous disregard for the sentiments of millions of refugees -- half-a-million people perished in the violence, 12 million were rendered homeless -- justify Nathuram Godse's action? What inspired Narayan Apte, son of a well-known historian and Sanskrit scholar, to decide on January 13 (the day Gandhi declared he would go on a fast to press Pakistan's demand for Rs 55 crore) that he must turn into a killer? What was Madanlal Pahwa's role in the conspiracy? And why did Badge turn approver?

Entire generations have come of age since The Men Who Killed Gandhi was first published. Children are taught in school that Gandhi was killed, not why Godse and Apte and the others did what they did. The new edition of Malgonkar's classic answers this and other questions; it's history brought alive. Read it.

WHY ARE WE AFRAID OF NATHU RAM GODSE?

The Hindu nation is still AFRAID of its finest patriot who acted bravely when the entire lot merely watched and watched, crying & weeping, and mourning the loss of one third of India and the massacres of MILLIONS of Hindus in 1947.

Our leaderless Hindu nation (Gandhi who FAILED to give us a lead, was NO leader but a fake faqir!) was FROZEN (PETRIFIED) and sobbing like infants who see their parents slain by bandits, and nothing was done to save our own kith and kin in Pakistan or ensure their safety from the human BEASTS yelling "Allahu Akbar!" into our ears- day and night.

REMARKABLE SPEECH BY NATHU RAM GODSE, THE GREAT PATRIOT WHO "DESPATCHED" THE COWARD WHOSE WEAKNESS INVITED MUSLIM AGGRESSION (AS WELL AS PARTITION) THAT RESULTED IN THE BREAK UP OF INDIA.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyhsvqYXC2c

GANDHI, self professed SECULAR, lived on shamelessly after his UNITED India (AKHAND BHARAT) was forced to surrender FIVE PROVINCES to mad and KILLER ISLAM.

All-India Muslim League then was NO DIFFERENT from Boko Haram, Al Qaida, Taliban and the 'Islamic State' in Syria and Irak today. Didn't Gandhi know what the MUSLIMS in Hindusthan had been busy doing since 712 AD (murder, abduction, rape, destruction of temples, FORCIBLE conversions)? WHY DID HE NOT BOTHER TO KNOW HIS ENEMY?

MILLIONS OF HINDUS WERE MASSACRED, OR FORCED TO FLEE THEIR HOMES IN 1947. WHAT GANDHI THOUGHT OF THE HINDUS IS THE SAME WHAT THE PRESENT RULERS OF BHARAT THINK OF THE HINDUS.  THAT IS WHY THERE IS NO MEMORIAL TO THE TWO MILLION DEAD OF 1947 NOR ANY MENTION OF SURRENDER OF ONE THIRD OF INDIA IN THE SLAVES' CONSTITUTION!

The safety and well-being of the Hindus was NOT on GANDHI'S mind. In fact, psychiatrists will suggest that Gandhi HATED the contemptible slavish SELF-NEGATING fellow Hindus, and wanted them to PERISH. He secretly wanted- to replace the uninspiring, sickly, paralysed Hindu nation by "manly" Muslims.

The contrast with GURU GOBIND SINGHJI is conspicuous. The LATTER also saw the Hindus as groveling slaves but instead of hating them, he REJUVENATED our "dead" nation (for centuries burdened under ISLAMIC YOKE) with arms and "SHAKTI" and the soul stirring national hymn "DEH SHIVA BARR MOHE...!"  He turned the "JACKALS" into "LIONS" while GANDHI could not turn the jackals even into wolves. Instead, he wished them all DEAD!

When will the INDIANS realise the merit of NATHU RAM'S brave act of "eliminating" the COWARD (well past the utility date, and by now totally IRRELEVANT confused and senile fool) from the country's public life?

When will the HINDU NATION erect a MEMORIAL to honour his memory and confer the award of "BHARAT RATNA"? None deserves it more than Nathu Ram Godse!

On November 8, 1948, GODSE took leave of us by saying, "AKHAND BHARAT: AMAR RAHE!"

No PRIME MINISTER of PARTITIONED INDIA has ever repeated that salute since, proving that the Hindu nation living in TRUNCATED (Broken) Bharat is still the same what both Guru Gobind Singhj and MK Gandhi found!

Gandhism should be removed from India. It has made Indians docile, inferior, passive and useless against the onslaught of foreign forces. Interestingly this Gandhism which is so called non-violence resulted in deaths of hundreds and hundreds of people during partition and continued deaths of Indians by foreign forces. Is Gandhism really working?  Absolutely  no. All this show of calling him the father of nation and paying homage to him on his death anniversary is completely farce.

Congress might follow Gandhi-ism. But why should BJP do so? BJP for decades tried to brain wash you all to hate Mahatma to drift you from true nationalism to pseudo-Hindutwa and pseudo nationalism. Now that they are in power, they are behaving as true nationalists. Nothing  to accuse BJP/ Modiji. You can only search your hearts for being foolish to trust them earlier. If you still think Mahatma was wrong you will be living in fools paradise.

One example to understand:

NTRamarao took a slogan "Andhrula aatmagauravam"(self respect of Andhra people) against Congress. All the Andhra people rallied behind him and Congress got washed out from A.P.

After he got in to CM chair, he conducted meetings where he alone was in royal chair and all others (including Ministers, MPs, MLAs) were made to sit on a mat. Was he respecting Andhras? Was he honest to his slogan?
Moral:

Leaders are to be judged not by what they say while in opposition but by their actions while in power.

Subject: [aryayouthgroup] India must discard "Gandhi-ism" to save itself

1. The killing of Colonel Munindra Nath Rai and Policeman Sanjeevan Singh by pro-Pakistan elements in Jammu & Kashmir on 27th January, 2015 is the latest of such disgraceful tragedies for the nation. Such tragedies are very frequent, and are happening due to Gandhian policies followed by successive Indian governments including the present BJP-led government.

2. Since Gandhi-ism means appeasement, self-negation, unconditional surrender and pathway to slavery, such tragedies will continue to happen so long as Mahatma Gandhi remains the role model of the nation. For its very survival as a nation, India must be liberated from Gandhi-ism. Moreover, India must have warriors like Maharana Pratap and Chhatrapati Shivaji as its role-models instead of Mahatma Gandhi who brought India's worst defeat in history while conceding Muslim League's demand for the creation of Pakistan for Muslims whereby Bharat lost vital parts of its territory.

Gandhi is not God. He is just a barrister. His hypocrisy is seen on many instances when he labelled Maharana, Shivaji and Bhagat singh as misguided nationalists.

Gopal Godse On Gandhi And The Indian National Congress

Great Nathuram Ji should have done the job 5 or 6 years before to get rid of British and Moslem's scrooge Gandhi. Why crook Brits are having a statue of Gandhi outside the Brit parliament?  They are paying back the debt.  There are very few crook nations on the earth as the Brits. Gandhi was Brit's number one recruiting manager of cheap Indian soldiers both in South Africa and throughout during WW2.  If Nathuram Ji or someone else could do the job 5 or 6 years ago then-

1. Great Netaji Subhas would not have left India therefore there was no question of a partition of India because bloody Brits could never make Bose to compromise with them.  Gandhi, Nehru, Jinnah and Brits were a party of partition as the congress signed the agreement in March 1947.

2.  The greatest tragedy of this Indian nation is that, Narendra Modi for whatever reasons is not free from typical Hindu psyche of deceits and life with suppression of truth.  This is where we make heroes out of Zeroes. I had seen during my CISF service utter sycophants or corrupts were given President's police meritorious service medals. I am fully aware  it is also so common and widespread in the Armed forces too for so long.

I have not got a shadow of doubt, that, unless and until we get rid of Gandhi completely, India will remain a spineless and internally and psychologically weak nation and Pakis will continue kicking our knees everyday. Baniyas don't make the nation and with Modi it appears Baniyas culture getting more ingrained into the system.

Every honest patriot and nationalist have a duty to promote Netaji Subhas and Nathuram Godse 24+7+365 to make India a nation of strong backbones and characters.

Interview of Gopal Godse

Time Magazine's February 2000 interview of Gopal Godse brother of Nathuram Godse

His Principle of Peace Was Bogus

Gopal Godse, co-conspirator in Gandhi's assassination and brother of the assassin, looks back in anger–and without regret

Fifty-two years ago, on Jan. 30, 1948, Mohandas Gandhi was shot dead by Nathuram Godse, a Hindu extremist. Godse believed that the Mahatma, or great soul, was responsible for the 1947 partition of India and the creation of Pakistan. Godse and his friend Narayan Apte were hanged. His brother Gopal and two others were sentenced to life imprisonment for their part in the conspiracy. Gopal Godse remained in jail for 18 years and now, at 80, lives with his wife in a small apartment in Pune. He is still proud of his role in the murder. Although Godse is largely ignored in India and rarely talks to journalists, he agreed to speak with TIME Delhi correspondent Meenakshi Ganguly.

TIME: What happened in January 1948?
Godse: On Jan. 20, Madanlal Pahwa exploded a bomb at Gandhi's prayer meeting in Delhi. It was 50m away from Gandhi. [The other conspirators] all ran away from the place. Madanlal was caught there. Then there was a tension in our minds that we had to finish the task before the police caught us. Then Nathuram [Gopal's brother] took it on himself to do the thing. We only wanted destiny to help us — meaning we should not be caught on the spot before he acted.

TIME: Why did you want to kill Gandhi?
Godse: Gandhi was a hypocrite. Even after the massacre of the Hindus by the Muslims, he was happy. The more the massacres of the Hindus, the taller his flag of secularism.

TIME: Did you ever see Gandhi?
Godse: Yes.

TIME: Did you attend his meetings?
Godse: Yes.

TIME: Can you explain how he created his mass following?
Godse: The credit goes to him for maneuvering the media. He captured the press. That was essential. How Gandhi walked, when he smiled, how he waved — all these minor details that the people did not require were imposed upon them to create an atmosphere around Gandhi. And the more ignorant the masses, the more popular was Gandhi. So they always tried to keep the masses ignorant.

TIME: But surely it takes more than good publicity to create a Gandhi?
Godse: There is another thing. Generally in the Indian masses, people are attracted toward saintism. Gandhi was shrewd to use his saintdom for politics. After his death the government used him. The government knew that he was an enemy of Hindus, but they wanted to show that he was a staunch Hindu. So the first act they did was to put "Hey Ram" into Gandhi's dead mouth.

TIME: You mean that he did not say "Hey Ram" as he died?
Godse: No, he did not say it. You see, it was an automatic pistol. It had a magazine for nine bullets but there were actually seven at that time. And once you pull the trigger, within a second, all the seven bullets had passed. When these bullets pass through crucial points like the heart, consciousness is finished. You have no strength.

When Nathuram saw Gandhi was coming, he took out the pistol and folded his hands with the pistol inside it. There was one girl very close to Gandhi. He feared that he would hurt the girl. So he went forward and with his left hand pushed her aside and shot. It happened within one second. You see, there was a film and some Kingsley fellow had acted as Gandhi. Someone asked me whether Gandhi said, "Hey Ram." I said Kingsley did say it. But Gandhi did not. Because that was not a drama.

TIME: Many people think Gandhi deserved to be nominated TIME's Person of the Century. [He was one of two runners-up, after Albert Einstein.]
Godse: I name him the most cruel person for Hindus in India. The most cruel person! That is how I term him.

TIME: Is that why Gandhi had to die?
Godse: Yes. For months he was advising Hindus that they must never be angry with the Muslims. What sort of ahimsa (non-violence) is this? His principle of peace was bogus. In any free country, a person like him would be shot dead officially because he was encouraging the Muslims to kill Hindus.

TIME: But his philosophy was of turning the other cheek. He felt one person had to stop the cycle of violence…
Godse: The world does not work that way.

TIME: Is there anything that you admire about Gandhi?
Godse: Firstly, the mass awakening that Gandhi did. In our school days Gandhi was our idol. Secondly, he removed the fear of prison. He said it is different to go into prison for a theft and different to go in for satyagraha (civil disobedience). As youngsters, we had our enthusiasm, but we needed some channel. We took Gandhi to be our channel. We don't repent for that.

TIME: Did you not admire his principles of non-violence?
Godse: Non-violence is not a principle at all. He did not follow it. In politics you cannot follow non-violence. You cannot follow honesty. Every moment, you have to give a lie. Every moment you have to take a bullet in hand and kill someone. Why was he proved to be a hypocrite? Because he was in politics with his so-called principles. Is his non-violence followed anywhere? Not in the least. Nowhere.

TIME: What was the most difficult thing about killing Gandhi?
Godse: The greatest hurdle before us was not that of giving up our lives or going to the gallows. It was that we would be condemned both by the government and by the public. Because the public had been kept in the dark about what harm Gandhi had done to the nation. How he had fooled them!

TIME: Did the people condemn you?
Godse: Yes. People in general did. Because they had been kept ignorant.

I read this book in 1965 in my final year as a medical student given to me by a friend of mine from Punjab . Nathuram Vnayak Godse  was hanged for the murder of the Mahatma [for some] .

Here is a book written by one of the most distinguished judges  in trial Shri G.D. Khosla. This book will shake up your belief regarding  the so called Mahatma and his Murderer.

This is one of the stories which we have seen in our life time and ignored the patriotic facts

If there was a jury system then the jurymen would have freed Nathuram vinayak Godse according the judge/s.
