Scholarship Programs:
1 Fulbright Programs
1.1 Fulbright Degree Program
This program funds graduate study in the U.S. for a Master's or doctoral degree. The Application Submission Deadline for this Program is May 13, 2015.
1.2 Fulbright Scholar Program
This program funds up to 12 months lectureship, post-doctoral research, or a combination of the two at a U.S. college or university.
2 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA)
Teachers of English Language will attend a U.S. institution to improve their English teaching skills. In return, these participants will teach Urdu, Pushto, or Punjabi at selected U.S. campuses during their 9-month grant.
3 Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program
The Humphrey program provides up to one year of professional enrichment and non-degree graduate-level study in the U.S. for mid-level professionals.
4 Community College Initiative Program (CCIP)
CCIP enables participants from Pakistan to study one year at a community college in the U.S. to earn a vocational certificate and immerse themselves in U.S. society and culture
5 Near East & South Asia Undergraduate Program
Outstanding students from Pakistan will attend a one year-long program for non-degree undergraduate study at accredited U.S. institutions.
6 Global Undergraduate Semester Exchange
Outstanding students from Pakistan attend a one semester-long program for non-degree undergraduate study at accredited two and four year institutions in the U.S.
7 Teaching Excellence And Achievement Program (TEA)
This program provides Pakistani English Language teachers with unique opportunities to develop expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, and increase their knowledge of the United States. Participants also engage in host university-organized two-week internships at a local secondary school. Trips to U.S. cultural sites, civic activities, and academic support are provided for participants throughout the program.
8 U.S. – Pakistan Professional Partnership For Journalists
Participants will be placed within relevant, reputable, legally-recognized U.S. organizations where they will gain hands-on experience with the journalism profession in the U.S. The four to six week program provides the opportunity to establish relationships with U.S. professional counterparts for on-going collaboration.
