Programmes Offering

Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Education Programme

Eligibility Criteria:

§ Minimum 16 years of education in a relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 on a 4.0-scale (semester system) or 65% score (annual examination system)

§ Minimum two years teaching / research / leadership / education development experience

Master of Education (MEd) Programme

Eligibility Criteria:

§ Applicant must have 16 years of education including one year BEd or any other one year teaching qualification from recognized Institution/University;

§ Minimum 50% marks in either professional or academic degree;

§ To specialise in Teacher Education, a minimum of two years teaching experience is preferred.

§ To specialise in Educational Leadership & Management, two years of teaching experience in an educational institution with minimum one year of management experience (such as principal, vice-principal, head teacher, head/deputy head of the school, head of department, or coordinator) is required.

The Application Package can be obtained from Office of the Registrar, AKU-IED (Karimabad Campus) or can be downloaded from www.aku.edu/registrar. The last date for submitting applications is 4:00 PM, May 4, 2015.
