Pakistan Centre for Development Communication (PCDC) is organizing one-day training workshop on the 'Art and Craft of Writing Success Stories'.
When Where?
Tuesday, 22 September 2015 - Islamabad.
Purpose
Success stories are essential for NGOs to raise funds, mobilize communities and get media coverage. This workshop is designed to help leaders and managers in NGOs to tell stories of positive impact and achievements. It will facilitate participants to understand, what a good "success story" is, why it is important for NGOs to tell success stories, how to develop effective success stories, and what is the best way to tell them.
Methodology
Part 1 includes discussion on several types of success stories and their effects on development work. Part 2 includes tools, techniques and templates for planning, collection and sharing of organizational success stories. Participants will practice writing and review examples of success stories from development organizations to polish skills. You can get more information from the attached flyer.
Who Should Attend?
CEOs, Media, Communication, Resource Mobilization and M&E Managers of INGOs Local NGOs, donors, social enterprises, corporate social responsibility initiatives and public sector organizations.
Training Fee
Fee for this training is Five Thousand Rupees+taxes (5000 PKR) per participant. Discounts are available for multiple participants from an organization. Participants will bear their own costs of boarding and lodging.
