NUST Science Society in collaboration with Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission is organizing "National Symposium on Peaceful Applications of Radiation Technologies" on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at NUST H-12 Campus, Islamabad. The symposium aims to focus on possible opportunities in researchindustrial applications and entrepreneurship both local and abroad would improve the exposure about the wide range applications of radiation technologies in:

  • Radiation Safety
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Agriculture and Biotechnology
  • Material Processing and
  • Power Generation

This will be an amazing occasion for students and researchers alike as this will enable them to embrace a relatively less known and more beautiful aspect of these amazing technologies.

Our distinguished speakers for the event will be:

  • Dr. Syed Arif (Director General Safety, PAEC)
  • Dr. Javed Irfanullah (Director NORI)
  • Dr. Anwar Shah (Deputy Chief Scientist, NIFA)
  • Dr. Shamshad Ahmad (Professor NUST)
