Greetings and peace from Pakistan Minorities Teachers' Association.
I would like to share some good news.  
 
GOOD NEWS,
1. Punjab Textbook Board has published "Role of minorities in the creation of Pakistan" in History 8. On the request of Punjab Textbook Board Lahore, Pakistan Minorities Teachers' Association provided the material for publication. In this content, matter on the role of minorities in the Lahore Resolution, Boundary Commission and the partition of Punjab has been included. 

2. By the 11 research based documents since 2007 onward and correspondence with the esteemed offices of the government of Pakistan, government is revising the National Education Policy 2009, National Curriculum 2006-2007 and textbooks.. 

3. Textbook Board is introducing a new subject " Study of Religions" which will be taught to all the students. 

4. PMTA has published 9 research based documents in 2014-2015 on the textbooks of National Book Foundation Islamabad, Punjab Textbook Board Lahore, Sindh Textbook Board Jamshoro, Balochistan Textbook Board Quetta and Khyber Pakhutnkhwa Textbook Peshawar indicating violation of Article 22 (1) and Article 25 (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan. PMTA published a White Paper on Education in Pakistan in 2007 and then Review on Curriculum in 2010. Up Till now 11 research based documents have been posted to the esteemed offices of the government of Pakistan. 

We need your prayers and cooperation. It is requested you to be the part of Pakistan Minorities Teachers' Association. We would like to appreciate if teachers whether teaching in public or private sector and whether teaching in a school, college or university to become members of PMTA so that we may get our rights through our strength.
