{Awareness} The missing ingredient ...

 


Assalam-o-Alaikum ,

In the past the farmers knew how nature worked, and much of how they lived aligned with these natural processes. And that is why they mimicked the natural laws because they were simple yet they always worked. Let us take the example of becoming apprentices in olden times.

So since that there were no schools, so the parents would actually send their children to become apprentices in the fields of interests usually under somebody who has had his mark in the field and famous for his art & craft. Now this used to be a tedious process, 7 years of drill under poor working conditions sometimes. Yet the hard work and determination always paid off.

Usually they started off with irrelevant housekeeping tasks that would put off anybody, but this was done to build tenacity and courage in the apprentice. As the time would pass the novice would get more responsibility, and eventually start with the actual process of mastery in the art of pursuit. He would take one craft and become so good at it that he would eventually take the name of his teacher forward, that is why it is said:

"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear". 

Now if you see closely this correlates to how farming is done, a farmer starts with a seed, cultivates the land and then watches over as the crop grows till the fields are ripe and the crop is ready!

My point is this:

THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS PARTICULARLY IF YOU WANT TO LEAD A WORTHY LIFE.

Moving in the 21st century, we are now technologically driven, and technology promises us fast results. Instant SMS, Instant Pizza Delivery, Instant Pain Relief, Instant Hair Transplant, Instant Meals, Instant Results, Instant Riches ... The list is endless ...

While technology does facilitate how we access material, it is actually being confused by how we consume it. You can sit in a 1 hour training promising to make you a leader, do you think that will actually make you one? NO! It cannot and it will definitely not!

Yes, it will empower you with the most effective research and deliver motivated content to get you started possibly. But YOU need to activate the consumption of this information, and digest it so that it become part of each body cell. You need to be that wise farmer who diligently tills soil, then sows the seeds (good ideas), then watches over and let them turn into ripe crops. You need to be that practical apprentice who believes in becoming the master and agrees to toil, work hard, learn his lessons, repeat it over and over till you get the promised results by the will of Allah (swt).

So think of yourself where have you been trying to seek 5 minutes Maggi noodles type results? (I guarantee it'll disappoint you!)

I have a new story every other day of people looking for instant results and shortcuts and they find themselves in a bigger mess physically, spiritually, intellectually, financially and in relationships.

I don't want you to be like them. Move thoughtfully in life if you want success in this world and the ultimate success in the aakhirah.
