As you know Snehalaya meaning the Home with Love in Hindi, a project of  Gwalior Childrens Charity of UK (formerly known as Gwalior Childrens Hospital Charity having started as a Childrens Hospital in 1998 but has grown into Snehalaya since with much more than only Childrens Hospital, hence the change of name too) in association with Gwalior Hospital and education Charitable Trust of India, is an Unique place for community living in India, generally considered as an Orphanage (we prefer to call it a care home rather) for disabled and destitute children, homeless women and the aged with a school (Special need as well main stream school) and hospital on site. It has all facilities for education and health care for children living there happily in a pollution free environment as a family as well that for Naturo therapy, Yoga, Meditation, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy spread out in area of 25 Acres of land with its own Gardens, Orchards, farms, play and Sports fields and much more. There is a cow shed (Gaushala) as well a small poultry and bird house too. There are 60 children there at present and we aim to accommodate 200 children when completed. Please visit us and see for yourself.

The new main stream school in Snehalaya Campus, a new mile stone for us to achieve with your support is opening this month. It will allow us to provide education for up to 500 children esp. girls from the surrounding villages. We continue with ongoing care for the children in Snehalaya as well to achieve sustainable development in slums and surrounding villages including health care, education, hygiene, sanitation, vaccination, safe drinking water, income generation etc. We also continue with our "Light for Education programme" and provide solar lights to school going children in villages there details on www.helpchildrenofindia.org
Please do not hesitate in asking for any questions or further information.  With best wishes, thanks for your support,
