Women Health Conference

National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH) is a purely Non-Governmental, Non-Profit and Voluntary Organization, established in June 05, 1999 with an aim to facilitate and promote environment, healthcare and educational awareness among the masses in general; particularly to youth of Pakistan. Recently, we have successfully organized our 9^th Annual Environment Excellence Award attended by over 300 Corporate Individuals where over 70 companies have won the trophies.

Based on current statistics of World Health Organization (WHO); 1000 women die every day of the consequences of pregnancy and child birth. Further it has been reported that about 1/3 of all female deaths are due to cardiovascular disease and stroke.

In Pakistan, women are the worst victims; they are deprived of all their rights. According to SOGP's Study WE ARE LOSING THREE WOMEN PER HOUR just because of pregnancy associated complications. More than 30,000 young women die every year in Pakistan which gives a maternal mortality rate of 340/100,000 pregnancies. This is not the end as our women have to fight with more vulnerable diseases due to multi-faceted problems and environments.

Conference,s Objective: Understanding the above facts and addressing the ever-rising problems pertaining to the women's health in Pakistan, the NFEH is organizing a "Public conference on Women Health" on November 7, 2012 by inviting Doctors, health, food, media & Fitness Specialists to highlight about the most infectious and dangerous diseases and its prevention toward creating healthy life viz-a-viz healthy family.

Further, the NFEH will invite working women, housewives, paramedical staff, lecturers, teachers and young girls along with women representatives from Governments, Media, NGOs, Medical Associations & other individuals to be part of this important and informative seminar. However, a 'complimentary registration' for each attendee is mandatory for the invitation.
