During the days of Terrorism in Punjab, the terrorists Kidnapped the selected persons of V.I.P Hindu Families. They were shot dead, by means of bomb blasts, by shooting at with the help of guns etc. and with such like activities. The terrorist people done to death the selected higher level officers/officials who were known as VIPs in the various Government Departments, which included Police Officers, the well known journalist-cum-politician and the doctors, the officers related to the Judicial Department.
The persons who tried to raise their voice against Terrorism and tried to check the terrorist activities by taking serious steps at the risk of their life they were really put to death so that no such person should take courageous voice to national level. Thousands of people of Hindu families on becoming helpless left the state and even now numerous families have lost there-where about, and most of the Hindu families have left the state out of fear of the activities of the terrorist. Increase and decrease of the terrorist activities have always been seen during the time of 1978 till 2009-10. Keeping in view the seldom-rear activities have even been found occurring even during these days, and as such the President of All India Hindu Welfare Committee, Mr. Naresh Kumar Sehgal, has submitted appeal with a humble requests to the President of India, Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Governor of Punjab, as also to the Chief Justice, Supreme Court of India in writing including the chief Justice Punjab & Harayan High Chandigarh, praying thereby that A HINDU COMMISSION BE FORMED to look into the probe about the great sufferance by thousands of Hindu Families at the hands of Terrorists who are now hiding themselves in the foreign countries under the guise of political sufferers. An recognitions of such like Hindu Families who have lost their Earning Male Members and their properties, they should be given suitable money help by way of providing necessary service to the capable member of the family, necessitating provisions of life to the needy family who have faced the troublesome period of terrorism and could not settle themselves by now. There are thousands of Hindu Families who are stand on their footing for earning their livelihood. Neither any private institution of Society, nor the State or the Central Government has taken suitable steps to help them in order to look into their difficulties.
Further more it has been appealed in the written requests referred to above that even to-day a good number of terrorists are wanted in different cases pending against them and the required terrorists are hiding themselves in different foreign countries. Prayer has been made that suitable necessary steps should be taken by the state-central government to extradite them and taken suitable action against them. It has also been prayed that the Commission formed should a certain during which period, which of the political parties and which of the politicians have been active to support the cause of the terrorists, and what steps had been taken by the Governments of the time concerned, in order to finish the terrorism. Thus in order to provide justice to the respective Hindu families formation of the Hindu Commission is the need of the hour, with the help of which by identifying the Terrorist hit families be notified area wise and suitable sources of their livelihood and residence be provided to them.
